“I feel so lucky that I found Shh Events and got to work with Stephanie for my wedding. When choosing a planner, I talked to several groups whose offerings were pretty rigid and black and white--they either plan your full wedding, or they step in a few weeks prior (and only then) to get up to speed for the day of the wedding. Shh Events had a package that was a perfect middle ground for what I was looking for (and my budget): Immediately after signing the contract, I was able to use Stephanie’s expertise for my newbie wedding questions and for recommendations based on her many years in the industry, which helped immensely in my planning. And then in the weeks leading up to the event and on the day of, Stephanie took over everything and made our wedding day flawless. Working with Stephanie was like having your cool, competent best friend manage your wedding day. She made everyone--from my husband and me to our families, bridal party and vendors--feel comfortable, while at the same time being firm and direct to keep everything on track. Her calmness and kindness was infectious, which made the day entirely stress-free for us.

She handled everything at the end of the night and delivered all of our personal items to us at home two days later, which reflects how above and beyond Stephanie goes for her couples. Since the wedding, I’ve had several family members repeatedly say how great Stephanie was and what an incredible job she did for our wedding. I’ll add that in addition to yielding a great day-of experience, her advice and help allowed us to save money through several DIY elements (we borrowed her arch and picture frames; she helped us set up a bunch of battery-powered candles throughout the venue, to name a few), and she was a great gut check on what we could do ourselves versus what we should outsource to our florist or other professional.  Stephanie is also highly respected in the wedding industry: I worked with Pin Me Up for hair and makeup based on a referral from another bride, and coincidentally the owner knows Stephanie and could not say enough good things about her. Stephanie knows the wedding industry inside and out, is incredibly responsive and empathetic, and does it all while being a mom to twin toddlers--she is an actual superhero. Clearly I loved working with Stephanie and couldn’t recommend her more highly!”
