Stephanie is the heart behind Shh Events – bringing organization, honesty, and joy to every celebration. After finding her way into the events industry in 2014 (a happy accident!), she built Shh Events with the intention of creating thoughtful, inclusive, and truly meaningful wedding experiences.
Combining her love of storytelling, theatre, community, leadership, and a really good celebration, Stephanie has grown Shh Events into one of the Midwest’s leading event planning and production teams, with a special focus on her hometown of Chicago. While she primarily works with full-planning couples, she’s involved in every part of the Shh Events experience – from onboarding new clients to matching coordination couples with the perfect planner on the team.
Outside of weddings, Stephanie continues expanding Shh Events into social and corporate events while collaborating with fellow industry leaders to make the events world more inclusive, sustainable, and supportive for everyone who works in it. She is a member of the Sustainable Events Collective and the Chi Thee Wed community, and works to train and mentor planners and assistants through Shh Events and throughout the city of Chicago.
At home, Stephanie is a South Side mom of three girls – twins Grace and Scarlett and their little sister Joy – who keep life just as lively as wedding season!
